Applying Stage Makeup
Foundation
- You are responsible for cleaning
your skin properly and applying
a light moisturizer before you
arrive to have your makeup applied.
- Apply foundation a shade
darker than your normal
foundation colour, making sure
to blend some onto your throat.
Also, make sure to ligihtly
aply to eyelids (as a base
for the eye shadow).
- Next, dab on concealer where
necessary, blending into foundation.
Cover any darkness under the
eyes or blemishes.
- Set makeup by aplying loose
powder, preferably translucent
or the same colour as your foundation.
Apply to face and neck.
Eyes
- Cover entire
lid, lash to
brow, with white eye
shadow.
- Apply dark brown eye
shadow to outer half of lid
up to crease. Blend
into white shadow.

Define crease with
a ligiht bronze or orange/brown eye
shadow, blending into the
darker shade.
- Line
the entire
upper lid's lash line with black eye
liner.
- Line under
your bottom lashes with brown eye
liner. for lower lid, start
lightly at midpoint and
work outward, applying more
pressure for a slightly thicker
width toward outer corner.
*To
make eyes appear larger, don't
connect the lines at the corners
of the upper and
lower lash lines.
- Widen eyes by
using a white eye pencil
along the ridge above the bottom
lashes. Place a white
dot at inner corners of
eyes (by tear duct) for more
definition. A white area on
the inside of your eyes brightens
your face.
- Apply at least 2 coats of
long lasting, waterproof
mascara to upper and lower
lashes.
- With a brow pencil that matches
your hair colour, draw
a line through shaped brow
and blend with a brow brush.
Cheeks
- Contour cheeks with a brown
tone by appying near
the center of your ear and blending
toward the base of your
nose.
- Finish with strokes
of red/brown blush on
the apples of your cheeks.
Lips
Line
lips with red/brown lip
pencil and apply a matte
lipstick in a warm
red or red/brown shade.
- Highlight center of lip with shimmer
cream or white eye
shadow.
