Sue Kember is Director of the ScotianAires.
She holds an Honors B.A. in Music and Drama from the University of Guelph. She moved to NS in 1993 and began teaching piano and voice in her home studio.
Sue joined the ScotianAires in 1994, became the Assistant Director in 2005, and in 2006, she took over as director.
In 2017, Sue was certified as a Singing Category Judge with Harmony, Incorporated. She currently sings baritone in the quartet enJOY, tenor in the quartet On Air, and lead in the quartet Best Before Date.

Leanne Dharmaratnam is Assistant Director of the ScotianAires.
She has B. Mus and B. Ed degrees and was a band teacher in the public school system as well as a music teacher (private piano, keyboard classes and brass instruments) at Long and McQuade. Leanne certainly knows her way around a piece of music! Once she retired, Leanne joined the ScotianAires as a baritone and quickly became music chair, bass clef section leader and Assistant Director.  Following in the barbershop footsteps of her parents, Leanne is very happy to be directing again. Leanne sings baritone in the quartets On Air, Making Waves, and Best Before Date.
